Clubhouse Labels and the Labels Page

Labels are a way to associate Stories, Epics, and Milestones. You can filter against Labels throughout various Clubhouse views and search for Stories that carry them in the Stories filter section and on the Search page.

Updating a Label in Clubhouse

Labels assigned to Epics will be inherited by that Epic's associated Stories. Milestone Labels are not inherited by the Stories or Epics in that Milestone.

You can create Labels on the Label page, by clicking the Create Label button at the top of the screen or you can create a Label in any of the Epic, Milestone or Story Label areas.

Once a Label is created, it can be used on any Story, Epic, or Milestone.

Labels can be edited from the Labels page.

To delete a Label, navigate to the Labels Page and click the garbage can icon next to the Label you would like to delete.

Viewing and Sorting Labels in Clubhouse

Labels have a light yellow dot by default in Clubhouse, but you can assign a different color on creation or by visiting the Labels page.

Changing Label Colors in Clubhouse

In addition to viewing Labels on the Stories page, you can also view more information on the Labels Page. You can see and sort by:

  • story Label names
  • Label color
  • progress by Story Label
  • progress by Epic Label
  • total number of Stories or Epics associated with each Label

Tracking Progress Against Labels

The Labels page will also surface progress across all Stories and Epics where that Label has been used.

Clicking on "View Stories" alongside the Label will also provide you with a view on the Stories page filtered by that specific Label.
